Today, the Independent Redistricting Commission presented its final map recommendations to the Legislative Redistricting Committee.

Utah’s Legislative Redistricting Committee recently concluded its statewide public hearing tour. The committee held over a dozen meetings across the state, gathering feedback, reviewing maps and listening to Utahns’ concerns.

The Legislative Redistricting Committee released the state’s first analysis of the 2020 Census data showing how population shifts over the last decade will force changes to current district boundaries. As the fastest-growing state in the nation, Utah grew by 18.4 percent since 2010. However, the analysis shows not all areas of the state grew evenly.

The U.S. Census Bureau released official PL94-171 redistricting data on August 12, 2021. The following graphs, tables, and maps are based on the total population counts for Utah’s Congressional, Legislative, and State School Board districts.
